- Our company has been operating for 9 years. Despite the fact that our company had worked only in out-country tourism during the first years of its activity, further extending the field of activity, company started fully operating in in-country tourism. In the beginning the company organized treatment and rest for the citizens of Azerbaijan in various areas on the territory of former Soviet republics such as Mineralniye Vodi (Mineral Waters), near Moscow, Crimea, Sochi, Yalta, Truscavez and achieved the big success in this direction. Although, we did not stop at achieved result. Taking into account the priority trends of tourist policy of the state – attraction more foreign tourists to our country, we have implemented a few projects related to attracting of foreign tourists to Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the project we have created the web portal CIC.AZ that is unique in Azerbaijan. Creation of this portal became real owing to financial support of BAS PROGRAMME of European Union and practical work of scientific and industrial company R.I.S.K.
The purpose of creating this portal was integration of internal tourist data base of Azerbaijan into the global tourist data base. We wanted to do the job in trend that fell on our lot.

First, portal reflected all tourist services we have been providing: tours organized by the company, provided services etc. One can obtain the comprehensive information about Azerbaijan at this portal as well. The strongest side of this project is that any foreign person visiting this portal can obtain the information about 9 priority tourist zones of Azerbaijan, about nature of these zones, historical monuments located there, sanatoriums, leisure centers located there; they can book, reserve and pay through the internet. Such portal will contribute to increasing of the potential abilities to receive the tourists. The information in the portal is in English and Russian. We are providing for expanding the language base of our portal. Regarding the services, I can say that one of the most important factors is that the services meet the standards. It is necessary not only to receive the tourists but also to realize the business on the high level. Toward this end the management and employees of our company participate in the international trainings and up-grade their skills.
We organize one- and two-days tours to lovely areas of Azerbaijan: Nabran, Guba, Shemakha, Sheki, Zakatali; in the Southern regions to: Lenkoran, Lerik. The continuance of tours can be 7 and 14 days also. We organize open sessions at Shemakha observatory for the students and pupils during tourist tours to Shemakha. The considerable growth of company’s activity is evident in comparison with the last year indicators. The in-country tourism in Azerbaijan is interesting by the fact that one tourist is being served by eight citizens of Azerbaijan. The growth of tourism means consequently growth of workplaces. Tourism is related to 32 sectors of the national economy directly. The development of tourist sector of economy will affect on other sectors of economy.
